While Craigslist, PadMapper, and similar sites are the undisputed kings for finding apartments for rent, they give little opportunity for a management company to communicate its personality to prospective tenants. And when it comes to interacting with and serving your active tenants, these sites offer nothing.

Silver Key Associates is a Chicago-based real estate company specializing in the west side neighborhoods of Logan Square, Bucktown, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village and Humboldt Park. In order to help them build their brand and better serve their tenants, Colorful Revolution Media built them this custom website. It displays available units, has important documents available for download, and features a password-protected investor page in which authorized users can see the ROI for any building they've helped fund.

Not only that, but the website is fully responsive and functions beautifully on both desktop and mobile devices. Visit them online at

In addition to building the site, Colorful Revolution Media also helped with some internal and external photos of Silver Key's units to make sure the images truly popped!

My work

Nestled in the rolling hills of southeast Wisconsin, Camp Anokijig has over 350 acres around idyllic Little Elkhart Lake. This project was all about capturing that beauty in a modern website and an evocative video.

Founded in 1922, The Chicago Council on Global Affairs is the midwest's foremost political think tank. I built the “Outrage and Inspire” blog for their Senior Fellow on Global Agriculture and Food Policy.

The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust is a nonprofit that aims to preserve Wright's work and educate future generations on its importance. This photo shoot in the Robie House was aimed specifically at illustrating how his interior spaces relate to one another.

The Senator's campaign team reached out to Colorful Revolution Media to help produce this campaign-kickoff video in which the senator outlines his deep history to his community, his past accomplishments, and lays out a path for future progress.

PresenTense Chicago sponsors young social entrepreneurs, aiming to improve society through from the ground up. I produced this video for their 2013 “Launch Night,” promoting the kickoff for these inspiring projects.

Working with a designer from a totally different medium was a wonderful experience. Although we sometimes spoke in what seemed like different languages, our sensibilities almost always brought us to the same conclusions.

The Chicago Improv Festival is the longest running and largest improv festival in the world. I put together this video to showcase the organization’s history and highlight the evolution of their programs.

Getting your picture taken professionally can be stressful, but the right photographer can make all the difference. I aim to make my subjects as comfortable as possible for a relaxed and enjoyable shoot—for everyone.

For a fledgling musician, getting your name out can be more difficult than just writing a great song. With YouTube as one of the largest modern sources for music discovery, having video is essential.

Media work runs in the family. This project for Charlie Meyerson, Chicago news veteran, involved a complete rebranding of an existing site based on the “Google Blogger” platform.
